With the win, St. Edward's upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Merritt Island Christian (Merritt Island, FL) to play the Cougars in a bout on Thursday, August 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Merritt Island Christian won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Calvary Chapel Academy (West Melbourne, FL)

The Sharks now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Martin County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12.
