South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 2. South Warren will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record.
The Eagles now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Marshall County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. Ohio County will confront a Marshals team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Marshals record now stands at 4-5.
