Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Sailors confront the Erie Tigers (Erie, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 2. Steamboat Springs will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO).
The Gore Rangers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lotus School For Excellence for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Vail Mountain will confront a Meteors team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Sheridan (Denver, CO). The Meteors record now stands at 1-0.
