The Velma-Alma Comets softball team (Velma, OK), was routed 10-0 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Maysville Warriors (Maysville, OK)
Coming up next, the Warriors clash with the Grandfield Bearcats (Grandfield, OK) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 14. Maysville will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record.
The Comets (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Central (Marlow, OK). The Bronchos come into the Class A test with a 15-11 record. In their last test, Central overcame Ninnekah (Ninnekah, OK), 15-0, in a league test.
