The Rush Springs Redskins routed the visiting Union City Tigers softball squad by a count of 14-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Redskins (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Empire (Duncan, OK). The Bulldogs go into the Class A battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Empire topped Central (Marlow, OK), 12-6, in a league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Empire for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 29. Union City will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Central (Marlow, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-7.
