The Pinole Valley Spartans volleyball team (Pinole, CA), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA)

The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hercules (Hercules, CA). The Titans enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Hercules was dropped by St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA) in a Tri-County challenge, on Wednesday, August 30. Pinole Valley will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Oilers enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Vallejo (Vallejo, CA).
