Arizona High School Volleyball - Mountain Pointe can't hold off Cienega

The Mountain Pointe Pride volleyball team (Phoenix, AZ), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ)

The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Salpointe Catholic nudged Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pride encounter the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 31. Mountain Pointe will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ).
