The Vermilion Sailors volleyball team (Vermilion, OH), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Clyde Fliers (Clyde, OH)

With the win, Clyde upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Fliers travel to Perkins (Sandusky, OH) to play the Pirates in a Sandusky Bay - Lake bout on Thursday, August 31. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Perkins lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Huron (Huron, OH)

The Sailors now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Willard for a Sandusky Bay - Bay bout on Thursday, August 31. Vermilion will play a Crimson Flashes squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, OH). The Crimson Flashes record now stands at 5-0.
