In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host St. Scholastica Doves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Covington Lions.
The Doves (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA). The Cajuns come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Metairie Park Country Day lost by Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions clash with the Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, August 30. Covington will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Salmen (Slidell, LA).
