North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hibriten over Draughn

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 31. Hibriten will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Polk County (Columbus, NC).

With the loss, Draughn drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Owen (Black Mountain, NC) to battle the Warhorses in a Western Highlands 1A/2A contest on Thursday, August 31. The Warhorses come into the contest with a record of 4-1. Owen won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC)
