The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA). The Broncos come into the Top of Iowa - West battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Belmond-Klemme lost by Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals (Garner, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 31. West Hancock will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Forest City (Forest City, IA).
