The Hempfield Area Spartans volleyball team (Greensburg, PA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA)

The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Highlanders enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Baldwin defeated West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions (Greensburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 31. Hempfield Area will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
