Georgia High School Volleyball - Monroe Area tips Walnut Grove

August 29, 2023: Walnut Grove, GA 30052

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) and the host Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), saw Monroe Area's volleyball squad nip Walnut Grove by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Monroe Area upgrades its record to 11-7 on the year. The Purple Hurricanes travel to Heritage (Conyers, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-5.

The Warriors now own a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Eastside for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. Walnut Grove will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.
