The St. Edmond Gaels volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Storm Lake Tornadoes to 1 in the Gaels non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Gaels now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iowa Falls-Alden for a non-league game on Thursday, August 31. St. Edmond will meet a Cadets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 2-5.
The Tornadoes (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA). The Indians enter the Lakes game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Spirit Lake gained a win over Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
