The Union Grove Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Winona Wildcats to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now have a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gladewater for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29.
The Wildcats (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 2-12 record. In their last game, Pittsburg dropped by Bowie (Simms, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
