In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Menomonee Falls Phoenix volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Kenosha Tremper Trojans.
The Phoenix (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Germantown (Germantown, WI). The Warhawks come into the Greater Metro challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Germantown edged Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans play the Madison West Regents (Madison, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Kenosha Tremper will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
