The Central Blue Devils felled the visiting Bloomfield Bengals football team by a score of 27-15 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils play the Snyder Tigers (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Central will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.

The Bengals (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Maroon Raiders go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Nutley lost by River Dell (Oradell, NJ), 42-7, in a non-league challenge.
