In their next game, the Pioneers play the Michigan Collegiate Cougars (Warren, MI) in a Charter - Gold challenge, on Friday, September 6. Edison Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 27-24 non-league loss to Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI).

The Jungaleers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Renaissance (Detroit, MI). The Phoenix go into the Detroit Public 1 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Renaissance was dropped by Riverview (Riverview, MI), 38-0, in a non-league challenge.
