The Frankfort Panthers got by the host Mancelona Ironmen football team by a score of 40-38 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI) in a Northern Michigan - Legacy challenge, on Friday, September 6. Frankfort will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Lakers go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 55-0 non-league win over Manton (Manton, MI).
