In their next game, the Pirates play the DeSoto Dragons (DeSoto, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Perryville will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Dragons go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 21-13 non-league win over Freeburg (Freeburg, IL).

The Black Cats (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Herculaneum (Herculaneum, MO). The Black Cats go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Herculaneum was dropped by Windsor (Imperial, MO), 22-21, in a non-league challenge.
