The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL) and the visiting Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL), witnessed Pisgah's football squad knock off Fyffe by a tally of 30-22.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Section (Section, AL). The Lions enter the 2A Region 7 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Section was outscored by Valley Head (Valley Head, AL), 35-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Red Devils battle the Collinsville Panthers (Collinsville, AL) in a 3A Region 8 contest, on Friday, September 6. Fyffe will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL).
