Michigan High School Football - Hemlock knocked off by Garber

In Thursday's non-league game, the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) football team overcame the host Hemlock Huskies (Hemlock, MI), by a tally of 19-6.

In their next game, the Dukes battle the Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) in a Tri-Valley - Red game, on Friday, September 6. Garber will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 49-7 non-league loss to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI).

The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cass City (Cass City, MI). The Red Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cass City lost by Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI), 24-22, in a non-league challenge.
