The Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) football trounced the visiting Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 62-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Honey Badgers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chandler Prep for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Highland Prep will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 83-0 non-league win over St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Red Mesa drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Redskins host Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ) to clash with the Dons in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. The Dons come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Coronado lost 42-6 in their recent non-league outing against Cortez (Phoenix, AZ)
