The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons football team (Wilcox, NE), was tipped 19-18 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves (Maywood, NE)

With the win, Maywood/Hayes Center advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolves travel to Mullen (Mullen, NE) to encounter the Broncos in a non-league bout on Friday, September 6. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Mullen lost 42-22 in their recent non-league bout against Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE)

The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Deshler for a non-league bout on Friday, September 6. Wilcox-Hildreth will encounter a Dragons team coming off a 22-8 non-league loss to Osceola (Osceola, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 0-1.
