With the win, Melrose-Mindoro advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Blair-Taylor (Blair, WI) to play the Wildcats in a Dairyland battle on Tuesday, September 3. The Cardinals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Cashton for a Scenic Bluffs battle on Friday, September 6. Necedah will play a Eagles team coming off a 50-8 non-league win over Independence/Gilmanton (Independence, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
