In Thursday's non-league game, the Roscommon Bucks (Roscommon, MI) football team edged the host Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI), by a tally of 17-14.

In their next game, the Bucks battle the Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Highland game, on Friday, September 6. Roscommon will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Aggies enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 22-15 non-league win over Ravenna (Ravenna, MI).

The Owls (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI). The Rayders enter the Northern Michigan - Leaders game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Charlevoix was edged by St. Francis (Traverse City, MI), 67-22, in a non-league game.
