In Thursday's non-league match, the host El Modena Vanguards football squad scored a good 36-28 triumph over the Colony Titans.
The Vanguards (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Newport Harbor defeated La Habra (La Habra, CA), 20-0, in a non-league match.
