The Costa Mesa Mustangs felled the visiting Estancia Eagles football team by a score of 28-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Costa Mesa will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Katella (Anaheim, CA). The Knights go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Katella lost by Valencia (Placentia, CA), 36-6, in a non-league challenge.
