The Channel Islands Raiders edged the host Buena Bulldogs flag football team by a score of 21-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders face the St. Bonaventure Seraphs (Ventura, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Channel Islands will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Seraphs enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 27-6 non-league loss to Oak Park (Oak Park, CA).

The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Dos Pueblos was edged by San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 32-20, in a non-league challenge.
