In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Blazer Tomcats soccer squad scored a tight 8-1 win over the Rowan County Vikings.
The Tomcats (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Comets enter the non-league outing with a 2-2 record.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 3. Rowan County will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Royals enter the outing with a 4-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY).
