Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Wabash Apaches (Wabash, IN) and the visiting Peru Tigers (Peru, IN), saw Wabash's soccer squad knock off Peru by a count of 3-1.

The Apaches (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mississinewa (Gas City, IN). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Mississinewa tipped Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Maconaquah Braves (Bunker Hill, IN) in a Three Rivers battle, on Tuesday, September 3. Peru will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Braves enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Eastbrook (Marion, IN).
