North Carolina High School Football - Cherokee sneaks past Rosman

August 29, 2024: Cherokee, NC 28719

The Cherokee Braves football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Rosman Tigers to 20 in the Braves non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Braves now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Robbinsville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Cherokee will meet a Black Knights squad coming off a 22-20 non-league win over Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Rosman drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Madison (Marshall, NC) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-1. Madison won 18-14 in their recent non-league test against Andrews (Andrews, NC)
