The Enka Jets edged the visiting Pisgah Bears football team by a score of 14-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Jets face the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Enka will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 22-0 non-league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
The Bears (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, West Henderson held off Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 70-16, in a non-league challenge.
