The Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) soccer nipped the host Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Chargers now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hough for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 3. Cox Mill will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-2.
