Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Boone County advances its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-3. Beechwood 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Lafayette (Lexington, KY)

The Mustangs now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montgomery County for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Bishop Brossart will clash with a Indians team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Russell (Russell, KY). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.
