With the triumph, Breese Central advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-1. Mascoutah lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL)

The Piasa Birds now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host East Alton-Wood River for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 4. Southwestern will meet a Oilers team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL). The Oilers record now stands at 1-1.
