With the triumph, Cedar Springs moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Red Hawks host Black River (Holland, MI) to clash with the Rats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Rats come into the test with a record of 3-1. Black River won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Wellspring Prep (Grand Rapids, MI)

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oakridge for a Western Michigan test on Wednesday, September 4. Ravenna will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Fremont (Fremont, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-5.
