In Thursday's non-league contest, the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) soccer team edged the host Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 3-2.
Next, the Wildcats face the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 3. Lake Norman will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over South Point (Belmont, NC).
The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Olympic Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 1-1, in a non-league contest.
