In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Godwin Heights Wolverines soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Hopkins Vikings.
The Wolverines (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Fruitport (Fruitport, MI). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Fruitport got by Whitehall (Whitehall, MI), 5-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Belding Black Knights (Belding, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver outing, on Thursday, September 5. Hopkins will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
