Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) and the host John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY), saw Meade County's soccer squad knock off John Hardin by a count of 2-0.

The Green Waves (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Ohio County tipped Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY), 6-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the North Hardin Trojans (Radcliff, KY) in a District 17 battle, on Tuesday, September 3. John Hardin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
