Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) and the visiting Kane Wolves (Kane, PA), saw Punxsutawney's soccer squad hold off Kane by a count of 6-5.

The Chucks (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA). The Bulldogs enter the UAVSL Boys South battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Redbank Valley tipped Karns City (Karns City, PA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Wolves battle the Port Allegany Gators (Port Allegany, PA) in a UAVSL Boys North battle, on Tuesday, September 3. Kane will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
