The Freeman Falcons softball squad (Adams, NE), was routed 9-4 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE)

With the triumph, Ashland-Greenwood improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Malcolm (Malcolm, NE) to face the Clippers in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 31. The Clippers enter the contest with a record of 0-3.

The Falcons now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Falls City for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 31. Freeman will face a Tigers squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Auburn (Auburn, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.
