Colorado High School Softball - Horizon held off by Mead

August 29, 2024: Longmont, CO 80504

In Thursday's league test, the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) softball squad got by the visiting Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO), by a tally of 7-6.

Next, the Mavericks meet the Green Mountain Rams (Lakewood, CO) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 31. Mead will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Bear Creek (Lakewood, CO).

The Hawks (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Ralston Valley was nudged by D'Evelyn (Denver, CO), 5-3, in a non-league test.
