The Roswell Hornets softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting North Springs Spartans to 5 in the Hornets non-league win on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johns Creek for a 5A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, September 3. Roswell will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 13-2 league loss to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, North Springs moves to 8-6 on the season. The Spartans host Northview (Johns Creek, GA) to confront the Titans in a 4A Region 5 battle on Thursday, September 5. The Titans come into the battle with a record of 4-5.
