In Thursday's non-league match, the host Stratford Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Wayne Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs (11-0) will now prepare for their match against Allen (Allen, OK). The Mustangs go into the Class A match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Allen was routed by Stroud (Stroud, OK), 4-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 3. Wayne will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Comets go into the match with a 6-8 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Big Pasture (Randlett, OK).
