North Carolina High School Volleyball - Foard over Alexander Central

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Foard Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Alexander Central Cougars.

The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes come into the Western Foothills 3A challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Hickory beat West Iredell (Statesville, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the University Christian Barracudas (Hickory, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Alexander Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
