Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) and the host Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA), observed Alta-Aurelia's volleyball team top Southeast Valley by a count of 3-0.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.

Next, the Jaguars battle the St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) in a contest, on Saturday, August 31. Southeast Valley will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
