The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Hughes Springs got by Atlanta (Atlanta, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels meet the Linden-Kildare Tigers (Linden, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Rivercrest will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX).
