The Bourbon County Colonels volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Fleming County Panthers to 0 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Colonels now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Montgomery County for a District 40 outing on Wednesday, September 4.

With the loss, Fleming County drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Powell County (Stanton, KY) to play the Pirates in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 31. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Powell County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hazard (Hazard, KY)
