In Thursday's league match, the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 4. Brevard will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 7-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Watauga (Boone, NC).

The Hilltoppers (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Wolverines enter the Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Polk County notched a victory over Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
